Leading the Nonprofit Center is Managing Director, Julie A. Larison. Prior to joining the High Center, Larison served as Senior Director of Membership Services for the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) in Reading, Pa., where she led the Business Development Support Services team and managed membership programs and services. From 2007 to 2020, Larison worked in several positions for BCA Study Abroad, including as Executive Director for six years. BCA (Brethren Colleges Abroad) was an international education nonprofit headquartered on the Elizabethtown College campus that provided year-long, semester and short-term programs for U.S. undergraduate students. BCA operated a dozen study centers around the world and sponsored international exchange students for its higher education partners. Larison’s career in education began in 1996 at Washington State University and includes tenures at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC., and Salem Academy & College in Winston-Salem, NC.
Larison earned a BA in English from Pennsylvania State University and MS in Strategic Leadership and Organizational Development from Elizabethtown College.
