James E. Shreiner is the retired Senior Executive Vice President and senior Administrative services officer for Fulton Financial Corporation, the parent company of Fulton Bank. Fulton Financial has $17 billion in assets and owns six banking institutions located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Shreiner joined Fulton Bank in 1975 and spent 40 years within the organization before retiring in December 2014. Shreiner headed up all administration areas of the Bank including Operations, technology, credit administration, compliance, human resources, and lending at various times during his career, as part of the senior management teams within Fulton Bank and Fulton Financial Corporation. Shreiner was involved in many Community Services organizations during his career. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of Elizabethtown College and Chair of the Board from 2011-2014, Shreiner served on the Boards of the United Way of Lancaster County, Big Brother & Big Sisters of Lancaster County, Jaycee-HDC, Inc, a senior housing project in downtown Lancaster. He also served on the Board of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and chair of it Political Action Committee, as well as Board member of the Electronic Payments Network (EPN) based in New York City. He also heading up major fundraising campaigns for the Fulton Opera House, the YMCA of Lancaster, as well as current Chair of the capital campaign for Elizabethtown College. Jim also serves as Executive in Residence for The High Center for Family Business at Elizabethtown College and volunteers as a facilitator for High Center Peer Groups. Shreiner is a 1973 graduate of Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor‘s Degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Bank Administration Institute’s School of Bank Operations at the University of Wisconsin, the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University, and the Duke Advanced Management Program at Duke University. Jim also serves as Executive in Residence for The High Center for Family Business at Elizabethtown College and volunteers as a facilitator for High Center Peer Groups.
